River of Pride 2024
Find photos from this years River of Pride Parade here.
The Pride Parade began at 2 pm Saturday, August 31. We met on Robinson Street at 1 pm to help Central United decorate the United Church of Canada float. We walked with United Churches in greater Moncton beginning at 2 pm in the spirit of inclusion and solidarity. Following the parade, celebrations continued at Riverfront Park in Moncton!
Continue to show support for diversity and that love is greater than hate!
An alarming trend of escalating hate crimes targeting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community has been bought to light in a recent Statistics Canada report. The data shows a 225% increase in hate crimes based on sexual orientation over the past five years.
Now is the time to demonstrate that Love Speaks Louder!
Thank you so much for everyone involved, you are truly making a difference in South-East New Brunswick!
