A few words
About Our Church
Who We Are – Who We Serve
St. Paul’s is an affirming and welcoming faith community. People of all generations and backgrounds gather in worship, in the name of Jesus, and together we experience and celebrate the mystery and transforming power of God.
Worship reveals to us God’s vision for creation and our call to live with integrity, seeking justice, peace and hope.
Our history
75 years ago, St. Paul’s first meetings were in a local school, graduating to hay bales for pews in our first building. Our building has gone through three major renovations, resulting in a fully accessible and contemporary space.
Our mission statement
St. Paul’s United Church contributes to the spiritual well-being of its greater community. Through worship, study and action, we embrace:
- Peace
- Inclusion
- Social Justice
- Community Leadership
- Living in God’s creation with care and gratitude
We celebrate the unique gifts that children and youth bring to our lives. We live out this mission as followers of the Way of Jesus.
